一、“代购”的英语是什么

最初有英语新闻里用buying on behalf一词表示“代购”，on behalf有“代表”的意思，而buy on sb.’s behalf就是某人代表购买。虽然这个词正确，但是又长又别扭。中文两个字“代购”就可以表达。那么一个职业代购该怎么用英语说呢？难道是buyer？最好的表达方式是procurement service。Procurement指的是就是跨国代购的意思。很多英语母语的人不会知道这个字，因为代购在西方国家并不流行。Procurement 在西方国家最常用的情况是说大数量的商务有关的采购, 而不是一罐奶粉的代购。BBC也曾用freelance exporting 一词表示代购，但还是不够准确，所以后来又用过 freelance retail consultant表示。其它的代购英文说法也有overseas purchasing，act as a purchasing agent或者specialist consultants。 但还是建议用procurement service这个词表示。
