现在距离北大留美学生章莹颖失踪已有20天，近日她家人也已飞往美国，希望美国警方能够帮助他们找到自己的女儿，而且也接受了美国媒体的采访，这起案件也引起了美国人的广泛关注。

"She is always a brave girl, she will never give up," Zhang's boyfriend said. "As long as there is a glimmer of hope, she will never give up, so we can not give up."

Zhang's family flew from China earlier this month to the United States. And they say they're not going home without her. Zhang's family want the kidnappers not to hurt her, and her family and friends are love her. Her father through the translation to CNN reporter said, "Let her go, let her come back as soon as possible."

Her disappearance has struck a nerve on the Urbana-Champaign campus.

"I'm praying as I walk," said Champaign resident Donald Baker. "We're hoping we can bring her back home to her family and to this campus."

"Although twenty days have been a long time."
