我从2015年1月3日拿到《阶梯快乐儿童英语》系统教材开始，第一年持续循环给女儿播放那72张dvd，另外，睡觉前循环播放24张cd。当时我女儿才三岁多，根本听不懂什么英语。没关系，我当时的目的是，让他熟悉英语的语音和语调。
第一年，我只是要求自己每天按时播给她听，并且要求她在我们的房子里玩，听不听我不管。
等她读了幼儿园后，随着学习握笔写字及看图识字，我也陆续开始要求她学着看《阶梯快乐儿童英语》精美的彩印版。
那已经是一年过的事情了。
等我女儿懂得写字母的时候，我就开始要求她按照教材上编排的进度，每天有计划地学习单词、句子以及短文了。学完第一遍教材，应该是两年后的事情了。
2008年4月26日，我计划记录我女儿每天的学习内容时，应该是她第三遍学习相同的内容了。

our chinese people like to tell meaning. it seems that many things we are doing all have such big significances. today i found it may be wrong to me.
especially for different group of person, different ages of person, the meaning of life is different.
我们中国喜欢讲意义，好像我们做的许多事情都有着非常重要的意义。今天，我发现这对我来说是不对的。尤其是对不同阶层、不同年龄的人来说，生活的意义好似完全不同。
in fact, i love my daughter. i have declined my desire for many other things. so i think i should try my best to take a real action to satisfy my daughter. because she is still young, it 
is very difficult for her to understand that life is wonderful but also meaningless.
事实上，我爱女儿。为此，我拒绝了生活中许多别的欲望。因此，我觉得自己应该为了满足女儿的成长需求拿出一些切实的行动。因为她还小，还很难理解“生活虽然看上去丰富多彩，实际上却毫无意义”。
i played with her when we went back home this afternoon. no doubt that she was very happy. when we went back home together with so much sweat, our supper is almost ready.
今天下午，当我们回到家中后，我就跟她一起玩耍。毫无疑问，她觉得十分开心。当我们满身大汗回到家中时，香喷喷的晚餐已经准备就绪。
we have very few time to finish our task—-learning english. but my daughter are so great, just after several minutes, she can read those sentences fluently.
我们只有很少的一段时间来完成学习英语的任务了，不过，我女儿非常棒。只学习了几分钟，她就能够流利地读出下面的句子了。
before she went to bed, i checked her again. i found that when i speak chinese, shecan blurt out them in english. i am so surprised and so happy.
在她去上床睡觉前，我又检查了一遍。我发现，当我说汉语的时候，她能够脱口而出说出相应的英语。我感到十分惊讶，当然也十分开心。
