所以我们一定要小心,对吧?
Remember that we use in for months, years, centuries, long periods, such as in 2023, in March.
记住,我们用 in 表示几个月、几年、几个世纪、很长一段时间,比如在 2023 年,在 3 月。
We use on for days and dates, such as on Tuesday, on Wednesday.
我们用 on 表示日子和日期,比如周二、周三。
So the correct answer is, on Monday, I have maths lessons.
所以正确答案是,我在星期一有数学课。
In January, I will go to Paris.
我将在一月份去巴黎。

A mistake that both native and non-native speakers make is using incorrectly form comparative adjectives.
母语和非母语人士都犯的一个错误是使用不正确的形容词比较级。
Remember the rules.
记住规则。
For adjectives that are just one syllable, we don’t need to add the word more.
对于只有一个音节的形容词,我们不需要添加单词 more。
We just need to add er to the end of the adjective.
我们只需要在形容词的末尾加上 er。
Can you spot the mistake?
你能看出错误吗?
And the correct answer is, he is smarter than his
brother.
正确答案是,他比他哥哥聪明。
He plays volleyball good.
他排球打得好。
No. No. No. No. No.
不,不,不,不,不。
This mistake has to do with the use of adjectives and adverbs.
这个错误与形容词和副词的使用有关。
Look at the example.
看这个例子。
Is the word good modifying a noun like volleyball or it’s modifying the way he plays?
Good 这个词是修饰像排球这样的名词还是修饰他打球的方式?
If you think the second option is correct, you are right.
如果你认为第二个选项是正确的,那你就对了。
As a result, using the word good won’t be appropriate.
因此,使用 good 这个词是不合适的。
Do you know what will be the correct word?
你知道正确的词是什么吗?
And now, let’s check the correct answer.

With some verbs, you only add an s.
对于一些动词,你只需要加上一个 s。
Others, you have to add es.
其他的要加 es
If a word has more than one syllable and ends in y, the y changes to an i and you add es.
如果一个单词有多个音节,并且以 y 结尾,则 y 变为 i,然后加上 es。

Modal verbs such as must, should, can, might and may are never followed by the preposition to.
情态动词,如 must,should,can,might 和 may,后面永远不会跟介词 to。
But why?
但是为什么呢?
The verbs that follow modal verbs should only be in their base form.
情态动词后面的动词只能是基本形式。
They should never be conjugated into another form, including the infinitive.
它们不应该变成另一种形式,包括不定式。
